Aakrist
Aakrist Dongol is a breath educator and sports
performance specialist devoted to one principle: excellence is built through mastery of the fundamentals. As a lifelong athlete impacted by severe injury, he discovered that most conventional training overlooks the foundational systems governing true strength, recovery, and resilience — the most fundamental of
which being respiration. What began as personal rehabilitation in 2015 became an ongoing study of functional breathing, nervous system intelligence, and the development of his Peak Breathing Method.
Drawing from lineage in Oxygen Advantage, CHEK Institute, MovMed, WeckMethod, and the disciplines of Qi Gong and Yoga, Aakrist integrates modern performance physiology with mystic sciences to fortify the biological foundations of excellence. Rather than chasing the “next level” through effort alone, he leverages the core architecture of human biology with precision to raise the baseline from which human potential continues to emerge.

Ali Wood
For two decades Constance Bay has been more than just a home to Ali; it has been the sanctuary where her personal and professional journey with yoga began. Since earning her certification in 2011, Ali has dedicated herself to the holistic well-being of her community, expanding her expertise to include specialized training in Prenatal Yoga, Yin, Alignment & Mobility, as well as professional accreditations in Nutrition and Hearth Health.
Ali believes deeply that yoga is a deep personal practice rather than a “one-size-fits-all” experience. She is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where students feel empowered to move at their own pace and adapt to their body’s unique needs, and honor their feelings in the present moment.
As the founder of Inner Moon Yoga, Ali finds profound purpose in nurturing her community. Her greatest inspiration is witnessing students navigating their own paths to wellness. She approaches her teaching with warmth and mindfulness, striving to provide a supportive pace where every individual feels encouraged, grounded, and empowered to discover their own transformative journey.

Awaken Dharma
Sound healing is an ancient practice, that is used to restore harmony for all five layers of the human field. This is a meditative practice that uses intentional frequencies and tones to bring all layers into balance. These vibrations can help move what needs to be moved, clear blockages & support total body wellbeing.
Relax and receive the profound sensation of healing tones of the crystal bowls, chimes, drums, gongs- wrapping you in layers of vibration and resonance. This is an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness, an opportunity to unplug from the noise of the external world and focus within. As a mother-son duo, we create intuitive, heart led sound journeys- we weave this ancient practice into modern intention- creating immersive experiences that heal on all levels.

Carole Merritt
I came to the yoga mat twenty years ago as a tight and continually injured distance runner. Expecting some light stretching, I was pleasantly surprised to find a full body workout that both challenged and relaxed my body and my mind. I felt the benefits of a regular yoga practice right away, and was able to return to running.
Following more than a decade as an at home mother, I wanted to return to work outside the home. Following my passion, I decided to do what I love, helping people to find their fit body and mind through yoga.
As an instructor, I am definitely not a subscriber to the "no pain, no gain" philosophy. It is my goal to help students achieve their goals by providing a fun and thorough workout that will strengthen and tone their muscles while leaving them refreshed and feeling great. I like to include a sense of humor in my classes; I don’t take anything too seriously. Yoga can be fun!
Everyone is welcome and I look forward to meeting you.

Wade Whalen
I started yoga in 2015 to improve my flexibility, but along the way it became so much more. Through the practice, I began to better understand my body while also discovering meditation and how it can help soften my edges, create patience, and bring more balance into daily life.
In 2024, I took the opportunity to complete my Yoga Teacher Training. My mind and body were ready for the journey, and it felt like the natural next step in my practice.
After graduating in 2025, I stepped into teaching by offering free yoga classes on the beach in Constance Bay. As the summer progressed, the group grew through word of mouth, eventually leading to an opportunity to teach at the Constance Bay Community Centre. By the end of August, I was hired to lead a Power Yoga class there.
I continue to teach that Thursday class and truly enjoy the students, the energy they bring, and the challenge of keeping each class fresh and engaging. In January 2026, I began teaching a second Power Yoga class at Union 108 in Arnprior, which has opened the door to even more friendships, experiences, and growth as a teacher.
I feel incredibly grateful for where this path has taken me so far, and I remain committed to continuing my training, deepening my practice, and sharing yoga with others.
